Relax as your private guide picks you up near your accommodation in Barcelona, Sitges or the penedès region. Sit back in comfort on a scenic drive to the heart of Catalonia’s wine country, the Penedès wine region.
Your journey takes you through the stunning vineyards of Penedès, offering panoramic views of the “Massif de Montserrat,” Catalonia’s most sacred mountain.
During the tour, you will visit two authentic family-owned wineries. At the first winery Can Descregut, your guide will walk you through the cellar and explain the intricate winemaking/cavamaking process in detail. You’ll indulge in additional tastings of premium organic wines and sparkling wine from the prestigious Corpinnat designation, renowned for its commitment to high-quality, handcrafted sparkling wines.
We will then drive to the second winery Can Suriol, where you’ll be welcomed by the winemaker himself/herself. Dive into the world of natural and biodynamic wines during an exclusive tasting hosted by a member of the family, and discover the unique flavors that define their craft.
Following the tastings, sit down for an authentic local picnic/brunch on the terrace of the winery Giró del Gorner, overlooking breathtaking views of the vineyards. Please check the menu below.
For those looking to expand their tasting experience, an optional stop at a 4th winery‘s wine bar allows you to purchase extra glasses of wine and cava.
After your tastings, we will drop you off right back at your accommodation.
Note: The lunch includes *coca* bread, hanging tomatoes, salt, olive oil, two types of cheese and cured meats, Spanish potato omelet, olive tapenade, toast, salad, and puff pastries. It includes one bottle of wine or cava per couple, water, and coffee. Kindly advise us of any special dietary needs or food allergies.
